Barrington Tops snow is tops!

ABC Mid North Coast greeted their Facebook followers on Christmas Day with snow! ABC Mid North Coast reported on their Facebook page that their highest performing post for 2018 was their 18 June post entitled “Let It Snow”, with photos and snow safety details borrowed from the Barrington Tops Tourism page.

The original post by Barrington Tops Tourism reached over 23,000 people alone before being picked up by the ABC for their own Facebook page. It was developed into an online news story by ABC which was further syndicated online around Australia & the world, being seen by a digital audience of hundreds of thousands of people.

Barrington Tops is the highest point on the Barrington Coast of New South Wales, and the highest point in the country outside the Australian Alps. MidCoast Council is the only local government area in Australia where you can be on the beach one moment then enjoying the snow just 2 hours later without leaving the LGA.
