  • What is the Business Hub?

    The MidCoast Business Hub is a directory of businesses based on the MidCoast of New South Wales, Australia. It enables both visitors and locals to search for businesses across a wide variety of categories.

  • Who can register?

    Any business in the MidCoast Region of NSW can register to be listed on the MidCoast Business Hub.

  • Can I register multiple businesses?

    Yes, a person can can register multiple businesses.

  • Can I register a business with multiple locations?

    Yes, you can register a business with multiple locations, however you will need to complete the registration process for each location.

  • How do I register?

    We’ve created a simple process to help you list your business. All you need to do is visit our Registration Page and provide your details, a description of your business and a suitable business image. We check all applications to ensure accuracy and certify that businesses are located within the MidCoast region. You will receive a notification within 48 hours to confirm that your listing has been approved and is online.

  • Are there any fees?

    Listing your business is completely free. Additional fees apply for advertising placements that appear throughout the MidCoast Business Hub. If you would like to purchase additional advertising placements on the Hub please contact us.

  • What information do you collect?

    We collect the details of the person registering and the business being registered. We use the details of the person registering to notify them of their registration progress. The details we collect about the business being registered are used in listings throughout the site. This information is also used to establish if the business is real, open, located on the MidCoast and if it meets our Terms and Conditions.

  • Who can see my listing?

    Listings are viewable by anybody using the internet and can be seen on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

  • How do I edit my listing?

    There are two ways to edit your listing details:

    1. Google My Business.
      If you use Google My Business (GMB) you can update details such as opening hours and contact information via your Dashboard. If you need to edit your business description or image, you’ll need to contact us.
    2. Contact us
      If you are not a Google My Business user, you can contact us and request changes to your listing. There is no fee for making changes or edits.
  • What is Google My Business?

    Google My Business is a free service provided by Google that helps your business appear right when people are searching for you or businesses like yours on Google Search or Maps; and it displays vital information customers are looking for, like contact details, opening hours, photos and reviews.

  • Why sign up to Google My Business?

    The benefits of signing up with Google My Business are that your business will appear when people search on Google or Google Maps. You can also learn vital insights about how and where people are searching for your business and find opportunities to connect with new customers. The MidCoast Business Hub syncs data with Google My Business to keep the information on our database fresh. This means that when you update your opening hours on Google My Business, that information will be automatically updated on the MidCoast Business Hub.

  • What information is pulled from google My Business?

    The information our database syncs includes; Address, Business Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Opening Hours and Customer Reviews. Google My Business users can also choose a picture from their GMB listing to use on the MidCoast Business Hub during registration.

  • What about reviews?

    The MidCoast Business Hub pulls in Customer Reviews from Google My Business. These only appear for businesses who have registered with Google My Business. The MidCoast Business Hub is not responsible for review content and cannot edit or change these reviews. We suggest that all businesses read and reply to reviews.   • Who is MidCoast Tourism?

    MidCoast Tourism forms part of MidCoast Council and is responsible for promoting, managing and supporting tourism across the MidCoast Region. MidCoast Tourism are also responsible for the MidCoast Business Hub and manage listings and registrations on the directory.

    Our aim is to:

    • Create initiatives that benefit other sectors or industries within MidCoast
    • Inspire travellers to choose MidCoast as their next travel destination
    • Deliver benefits to our communities and contribute to a more vibrant place to live and work
    • Encourage people to engage with the destination by sharing photos and videos of their experiences online
